METRO GAMES

34th National Athletics Championships for Visually Impaired People

 

26th June 2010 at Mile End Stadium London

 

On a stifling hot day a team of officials from Panthers made their annual trip to London to judge in the Metro Games. Assisted by other Southern Officials and some very willing employees from Goldman Sachs, a good day's athletics was enjoyed by all.

 

An added bonus for the Panther officials was that Daniel Barton, a recent addition to the Panther membership, was competing in several events and came away with a brace of Gold medals for sprinting and jumping.

 

Well done Daniel you made our day so worthwhile.
