Eastern Region Special Schools Cross Country Championships
2008
The brilliant Emma Jessup repeated her 2007 success when she once again collected the trophy for second place in the Eastern Region Special Schools Cross Country Championships.
In the Suffolk Winter League in 2007/8, Emma ran in every race and finished a very satisfying 9th against strong competition from the County's club runners.
In addition, Emma fitted in all of the Sportshall meetings, represented the County at the Regional Sportshall Finals at Norwich and ran a very strong race at Royal Hospital School in the County Cross Country Championships.
Emma is a popular young lady with her club mates and all the members look forward to seeing Emma going on to great things in the world of athletics.

On 6th March 2007 Emma Jessup of Orwell Panthers raced to second place in these important Championships.
Emma has had a busy winter where she has competed for the County of Suffolk in the Regional Finals of the Sportshall Competition and several of the Suffolk Cross Country League Meetings. It is a fitting finale to her winter's hard work that she should achieve this success. The club is very proud of you Emma and this is borne out by the tremendous reception you received from your fellow members at training this week.
