It has been some years since Suffolk saw Special Olympics in all its glory and we at Orwell Panthers AC have been trying to find a suitable competition for our athletes with learning disabilities.

Our investigations have led us to the Special Olympics movement which is a worldwide multi sports organisation.

We are delighted, therefore, that Bob Bilson, Regional Development Manager has agreed to come to Chantry Sports Centre on 18th March 2008 to give us an insight into what would be needed to re-launch Special Olympics in Suffolk.

This is not an Orwell Panthers evening except we have agreed to host the meeting and any organisation that might wish to be involved would be welcome to attend.
