SUFFOLK SPORTS AID FOUNDATION
Established in 2007 to support local athletes that have been
inspired by the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Olympians Goldie Sayers and Bill Tancred have recently
both agreed to be patrons of the Foundation adding a real
and
tangible link between
The SSAF is working in partnership with the national SportsAid
charity
and aims to raise funds from local businesses to support
Suffolk ’s talented young up and coming athletes. Since it was
launched the Foundation has made 81 grants to the value of £67,500,
with
the numbers set to increase further in 2011.
